Magnetic Knurled Back + TPU Case for Waveshare 1.8" Knob

Already have a Waveshare ESP32-S3 Knob Touch LCD 1.8" running the Voltra knob firmware? This is the same mounting hardware that ships on the LiftLayered Voltra Knob Remote — sold on its own so you can give your board the full setup.

Magnetic knurled back (PLA)
A knurled-texture back plate with embedded magnets. Glue it to the back of your knob and the remote posts onto any magnetic surface — your rack, the Voltra's frame, a steel plate — and pulls free in one motion mid-set. No straps, no clips.

TPU knurled case
A flexible, grippy shell that wraps the body of the knob, matching the knurled look of your bar and adding a layer of protection against drops and knocks. It slips on and off by hand, and the knob works the same with or without it.

Installation
The magnetic back is attached with adhesive, which you apply yourself. Clean the back of the knob with isopropyl alcohol, let it dry, then apply a few small dots of gel super glue or a thin layer of strong double-sided mounting tape to the back plate.

Orientation tip: I've found it works best to attach the back so the rectangular magnet runs parallel to the text on the screen (the on-screen display), not perpendicular to it. Power the knob on so you can see the display, and check the orientation before the glue touches down.

Line it up, press firmly, and let it cure fully before mounting. Keep adhesive away from the USB-C port, buttons, and any vents. Note that once glued, the back is meant to stay on.

Compatibility
Designed specifically for the Waveshare ESP32-S3-Knob-Touch-LCD-1.8. It will not fit other knob or display boards.

What's included
One magnetic knurled back (PLA) and one TPU knurled case — that's it. Not included: the knob/dial remote (Waveshare board), the firmware, and adhesive. Any photos showing the knob are for fit and reference only.
